  1. Is there a peer-review process for late-breaking poster abstracts?
    The submissions will be evaluated by the FISTS technical program committee but will not go through the standard peer-review process by multiple reviewers.
  2. When will the decisions be made for late-breaking poster abstracts?
    The evaluation will be conducted on a rolling basis and the result is expected to be given for a poster abstract within two weeks after its submission.
  3. Will accepted abstracts be published in the IEEE conference proceedings?
    No, since they do not go through a peer-review process.
  4. What is the presentation format of accepted abstracts?
    They will be presented during poster sessions at FISTS.
  5. Is conference registration required for accepted abstracts?
    Yes. At least one author of each accepted abstract needs to register for FISTS and present in person with a poster.
  6. If my full paper is rejected by FISTS, can I submit its abstract to this call?
    Yes.
  7. If I have a published paper elsewhere, can I submit its abstract to this call?
    Yes.
  8. If my abstract is presented at FISTS as a poster, can I still submit a full paper based on the same work to some other conferences and journals?
    Yes.
