Call for Papers
The goal of FISTS is to bring together world leaders in Intelligent Transportation Systems with a focus on the environment and sustainability. Papers will cover technological solutions, implementations, and policy. A variety of transportation modes will be addressed, including on-road vehicles, transit systems, shared mobility, and freight systems.
Theme and Topics
The IEEE FISTS committee invites technical papers that will undergo the standard IEEE peer review process and will appear in a conference proceeding.

- ITS Solutions that Reduce Total Vehicle Kilometers Traveled
- Transportation Policies Aimed towards Climate Mitigation and Adaptation
- Renewable Energy for Transportation in Drylands Countries
- Mobility in High Population Density and Traffic Congestion Countries
- Environmental Sustainability Solutions in Developing Countries
- Zero-Emission Vehicles (e.g., Electric Vehicles) and/or Infrastructure Needs
